Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Quality Control Specialist for Dietary Supplements! In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with industry regulations. Your keen eye for detail and expertise in quality systems will drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to delivering premium dietary supplements to consumers worldwide. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment dedicated to health and wellness. Duties Conduct thorough quality inspections of dietary supplement products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Perform routine quality audits in accordance with ISO 13485, HACCP, CGMP, and
ISO 9001
standards to ensure compliance across all manufacturing processes. Utilize data collection tools and analysis skills to identify trends, deviations, and areas for process improvement within quality management systems. Operate calibration equipment and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify the accuracy of manufacturing equipment and measurement devices. Review manufacturing documentation, batch records, and quality assurance reports to maintain strict adherence to FDA regulations and quality protocols. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes when deviations or non-conformities are identified during inspections or audits. Support the implementation of quality systems by assisting with internal audits, maintaining QA/QC documentation, and ensuring adherence to safety standards such as HACCP and CGMP. Experience Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a dietary supplement or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of industry standards includingISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA
regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and related compliance requirements. Hands-on experience with calibration tools such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with Calypso software or similar laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed analysis skills during inspections and data collection activities. Experience conducting quality audits and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing settings. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
