The Receiving Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming aircraft parts, materials, and components to ensure compliance with company, customer, FAA, and regulatory requirements. This position plays a key role in maintaining quality standards and accurate inventory control within the repair station. Duties & Responsibilities Inspect incoming aircraft parts, components, and materials for damage, accuracy, traceability, and required documentation Verify certifications, packing slips, airworthiness documents, and compliance with FAA and company requirements Ensure received materials match purchase orders and inventory records Identify, document, and report discrepancies, shortages, or non-conforming material Maintain accurate inspection and receiving records in company systems Coordinate with Quality, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production departments regarding incoming material issues Properly tag, label, and route materials to the appropriate departments or storage locations Follow company quality procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Assist with audits and inventory activities as needed Qualifications Previous experience in aviation, MRO, warehouse receiving, or quality inspection preferred Knowledge of FAA regulations, aviation documentation, and aircraft parts traceability preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret technical documents and shipping paperwork Basic computer and data entry skills Ability to lift and move materials as required Preferred Skills Experience with ERP or inventory management systems Familiarity with FAA Part 145 repair station operations Strong communication and teamwork skills
