Job Description

Manufacturing Quality Control work includes: Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Testing random samples of finished goods. Reporting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods and liaising with Quality Assurance to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
LOCATION
Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position.
REQUIRED
All induction and HSSE training will be completed. QC-01 competency plan completed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to effectively communicate requirements with suppliers and sub-contractors. Working Conditions Includes exposure to contaminants Requires working in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people Requires working indoors in non-controlled environmental conditions Benefits Standard Statement We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. ESSENTIAL
Receiving inspection and testing. In-process inspecting and testing in accordance with Quality System work instructions. Included in this are reading drawings/blueprints, determining methods for dimensional inspections, inspection of paint and other coatings, weld inspection, and identification of material and inspected items to show inspection status. Final inspection to verify that items exhibit acceptable workmanship, and that inspection reports/certificate of conformance are completed and ready for shipment with the product. Visual weld inspection of welds and base material. Maintenance of logs, filling out nonconforming material reports, and other required records of inspection and tests. Assuring that inspection gages and equipment are in current calibration.
