Our projects include site development, underground utilities, roadway construction, and public infrastructure work throughout the Tampa Bay area. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Civil Site Material Coordinator to support our team in the Brandon/Riverview area. Job Summary Receive and verify all incoming material deliveries on active construction sites. Physically count and inspect materials to confirm quantities match purchase orders, delivery tickets, and project requirements. Identify shortages, damaged materials, incorrect deliveries, or missing items before acceptance. Understand common civil construction materials including pipe, fittings, structures, aggregate, erosion control materials, and roadway products. Maintain accurate tracking logs of materials delivered, used, and remaining on site. Coordinate directly with vendors, truck drivers, foremen, and project managers regarding delivery schedules and discrepancies. Review material quantities against plans, takeoffs, and field needs when necessary. Ensure all delivery tickets, packing slips, and supporting documentation are completed and submitted accurately. Support inventory tracking and material reconciliation across multiple projects. Assist field teams with maintaining organized staging and material storage areas. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of civil construction field experience preferred. Strong understanding of construction materials, measurements, and quantities. Ability to read construction plans, material takeoffs, and purchase orders. Experience verifying deliveries and tracking field materials preferred. Strong attention to detail and accountability. Ability to work independently in fast-paced field environments. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and basic reporting. Work Environment & Requirements Must be comfortable working primarily outdoors on active construction sites . Ability to walk job sites, stand for extended periods, and perform physical material verification. Must be highly detail-oriented, this role directly impacts cost control and job accuracy.
