Job Description

Quality Inspector St. Petersburg, FL Direct Hire TempExperts is hiring a Quality Inspector for a respected and innovative manufacturing organization in St. Petersburg, FL . This direct hire opportunity is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, enjoys hands-on quality work, and wants to be part of a company whose products support critical applications across multiple industries.
What will you do:
Inspect products and components using blueprints, drawings, and established quality standards. Identify visual defects, dimensional variances, and other nonconformances with accuracy and consistency. Perform functional testing to verify products meet required specifications. Use gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment to confirm quality standards. Inspect parts throughout the production process to help maintain consistent quality. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
What you bring:
Associate degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in a quality or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation. Experience using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and clearly document product defects. Solid computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office. A dependable, quality-focused mindset with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
