Quality Assurance Inspector (Onsite
  • Venice, FL) $18.00
  • $22.00/hour + benefits Monday
  • Friday | 8:00 AM
  • 4:30 PM Enzymedica, a global leader in enzyme-based supplements, is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to support quality and compliance across all stages of the manufacturing process—from raw material receiving through production, bottling, and final packaging.
This onsite role in Venice, FL is ideal for candidates who thrive in both hands-on and documentation-focused quality environments. Position Overview The Quality Assurance Inspector ensures products meet cGMP and internal quality standards through in-process inspections, material reviews, and accurate documentation. This role is approximately a 50/50 blend of production floor inspection and quality systems support. Key Responsibilities Perform production start-up and in-process inspections, verifying capsules, bottles, labels, seals, and lot codes Inspect incoming materials, finished goods, and returns for approval or rejection Review and process batch records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Assign and track lot numbers for full product traceability Support label control, reconciliation, and documentation management Investigate deviations and customer complaints, supporting corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Participate in the creation and review of SOPs and ensure adherence to established procedures Participate in internal audits, third-party audits, and mock recalls as needed Participate in performance improvement and safety initiatives, including required trainings (e.g., c
GMP, SQF
) Collaborate cross-functionally with production, warehouse, and regulatory teams Maintain compliance with cGMP (21 CFR Part 111) and SQF requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing or quality role preferred Familiarity with FDA regulations (21 CFR Parts 111 and/or 117) and SQF standards Strong attention to detail and ability to make quality-based decisions Effective written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and use of hands for handling materials and equipment. Employees must be comfortable wearing PPE, including hair nets, gloves, masks, and lab coats. The role involves occasional climbing, kneeling, and crouching, as well as regular use of a computer. Candidates must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, reach overhead, and remain on their feet for extended periods. Must be able to read and verify labels and lot numbers.
