Job Description

Summary of Position Mission :
Quality Control Inspector role is instrumental in ensuring that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements before they're released to customers or used in production. This role is responsible for performing gauge calibration, measuring equipment, and maintaining calibration records. This position also conducts audits and supports the manufacturing and assembly areas in identifying defects, deviations, or non-conformances.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs periodic gage and measuring equipment calibration, based on calibration schedule.
  • Tests and repairs measuring equipment and gages in accordance with standards.
  • Performs quality audits in manufacturing and assembly areas.
  • Supports manufacturing and assembly areas on all quality-related issues.
  • Analyzes and suggests equipment upgrades.
  • Maintains and updates calibration, audit, and quality records.
  • Maintains a complete stock of calibration equipment and supplies.
  • Generates, and updates quality reports and monitors implementation of corrective actions.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in quality control, quality assurance, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge of quality control principles, methods, and tools such as inspection techniques, testing equipment, statistical analysis, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet quality and productivity targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capable of operating in an evolving and often unstructured environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and switch gears quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail
