This individual will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer requirements, engineering specifications, and internal quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have experience in machining and fabrication environments, strong inspection and metrology skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues. This role involves conducting inspections, supporting production quality activities, maintaining calibrated inspection equipment, assisting with continuous improvement initiatives, and helping drive a culture of quality throughout the organization. Skills/Experience Needed Strong understanding and application of GD&T Experience measuring tight-tolerance machined and fabricated components Proficient with inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and related metrology tools Experience working in a machine shop and fabrication environment involving metal and plastic components Understanding of CNC machining processes including mills and lathes Ability to provide quality support and guidance to production teams during manufacturing Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Self-motivated with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop solutions, and help implement corrective actions Ability to take ownership and accountability within assigned responsibilities Strong communication and teamwork skills Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing manufacturing company Desired Skills/Experience (Not Needed) Experience with Keyence inspection systems and/or CMM equipment Familiarity with
ISO 9001
quality systems; AS9100 experience is a plus Experience participating in or conducting internal quality audits Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspection methods, metrology, metallurgy, and statistical process controls Experience with AS9102/FAI, NCR/RCCA, and Blueprint interpretation Machinists with strong technical backgrounds and collaborative mindsets but limited direct quality experience are encouraged to apply; training will be provided for quality system processes and expectationsCompany Description Yeager Manufacturing Technologies is a quality provider of metal fabricated parts, including sheet metal, tube bending, CNC machining, welding, powder coating services in Orlando, FL.
