Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician specializing in NadCap Surface Temper Etch processes for 2nd shift. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for processing production through the Nadcap Surface Temper Etch process. In addition, this position will perform several essential duties per the Quality versatility matrix. 2
ND SHIFT:
3PM-11PM; Training will be on 1st shfit 7am-3pm for @2 months, then move to 2nd shift. Responsibilities Perform Nadcap Surface Temper Etch inspection process. Complete required training in order to achieve Level 2 certification status. Maintain accurate data recording. Accountable for ensuring that only conforming product is approved per quality requirements Work safely with chemicals used in the process. Keep work area neat and clean. Notify supervisor or quality team of any quality problems, per instructions. May be required to work a reasonable amount of overtime. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND JOB KNOWLEDGE
Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic gauge tools to perform machine set-ups and adjustments. Must be able to understand and interpret standard operating procedures, verbal instructions and use basic mathematical skills. Must have high attention to detail. High school or GED education required, mechanical skills preferred. Must demonstrate good communication skills, proactivity, sense of responsibility and problem-solving skills. Must be capable of working with a microscope for sustained periods of time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Must lift, reach, push or pull material daily. Requires repeated stooping and bending. Duties require standing and walking. Some work is performed while seated at elevated levels. The environment is climate controlled. Eye, foot and hand protection required. Must keep guards in place and exercise caution while operating machines. Exposure to flash coolants. Works under general supervision. Must be able to pass required Jaeger color vision test.
