Position Summary:
Supports the manufacturing production operations and obtains Quality through the achievement of "Zero Defects" practices.Position Responsibilities:
Develops and implements standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields, such as chemical, computer, electrical, or mechanical. Devises sampling procedures, and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. Establishes a program to evaluate analytical testing, equipment, facilities, precision measurements, accuracy measurements, and performance testing. Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material, and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility. Compiles and writes training material and may conduct training sessions on quality control activities. Supports all organizational initiatives including Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost.Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
Engineering knowledge Mechanical manufacturing methods, procedures and quality Time management and prioritization abilities Basic programming logic andMicrosoft Office Position Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in quality engineering or a related field.Experience:
2+ years of quality experience in a production environment Automotive experience requiredWork Environment and Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing Environment May lift up to 50 lbs. Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computerDisclaimer:
