You will utilize advanced measurement tools to verify part quality, directly impacting the efficiency of our production cycles and the excellence of our final products. Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections of machined parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with technical specifications. Conduct first-article inspections using precision measuring instruments and computerized metrology equipment. Document inspection results through accurate, detailed reporting to maintain quality traceability. Analyze non-conforming parts to determine root causes and provide actionable recommendations to the production team. Maintain a safe, organized workspace while upholding high standards of precision and attention to detail. Interpret complex blueprints to verify dimensional accuracy throughout the manufacturing process. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Demonstrated proficiency with precision tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Strong foundational mathematical skills for dimensional analysis. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting up to 35 lbs. Basic computer literacy for data entry and report generation. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a metal machining or high-precision manufacturing environment. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team setting. Familiarity with quality management systems or lean manufacturing principles.
