GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Must have good vision/sight (must meet industry standards and have no color discrimination), depth perception, hearing, and hand-eye coordination, and dexterity. Reading, writing, above average math aptitude is necessary. Must be team-oriented, problem-solver, and self-motivated. Must be able to follow written work instructions. Must be able to multitask and meet production goals and deadlines. Must be team-oriented and have good communication skills. Must have great attention to detail. Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to grip, push, and pull with 80lb strength on a regular basis. Must be able to generate 15lbs of pinch strength on occasion. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical. Must be able to perform elevated work on an occasional basis. Some tasks require repetitive activities. Must be able to stand on concrete up to 8 hours. Must be willing to cross-train within the classification. Must be able to follow all safety rules and wear all required personal protective equipment. Must be willing to work any shift.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Must be able to work with a scope to dig out defects and ensure internal passages are not blocked. Must be able to operate a scope and tools associated with cleaning the internal passages of each casting. Must be able to operate and calibrate gauges and testing equipment.
