Manufacturing Full Job Description Description:
Join a quickly growing Iowa company in the manufacturing industry! Power Brace is seeking a Quality Control Technician to maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, reviewing in-process production, and checking finished products. If you have strong attention to detail and a critical eye for quality, this position is for you!
Quality Tech Job Duties:
Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor. Removes all products and materials that fail to meet specifications. Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; and inputting data into a quality database. Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs and calibration. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications. Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Read blueprints and specification data. Discuss inspections results with those responsible for products. Report inspections and test data.

Schedule:
$20 per hour plus $1 per hour shift differential 8-hour shift 2nd shift Monday to Friday Overtime available
