Job Description
Quality Assurance Associate Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Associate to ensure the compliance of product batch records and technical documentation with cGMP and regulatory requirements, including those of the USDA, FDA, and EU. The role involves initiating, assessing, and approving deviations when non-conformances are identified, and participating in investigation reports to determine root causes. Responsibilities Review and approve product batch records and associated technical documentation to ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements. Initiate, assess, and approve deviations when non-conformances are detected, and participate in investigation reports to determine root causes. Perform usage decisions and release transactions in SAP to manage product movement and final disposition for product release. Provide real-time, on-the-floor quality support for batch reviews, process auditing, and quality guidance to production personnel and the Process Team. Assist with internal and external inspection audits by helping with preparation and response. Support the Process Team by tracking and reporting on continuous improvement goals. Essential Skills Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline, or a High School Diploma / GED with equivalent relevant experience. At least 1-2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment, such as pharmaceuticals or biologics. Experience reviewing GMP-regulated documents such as batch records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality investigations. Strong attention to detail. Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Suite, SAP, and Veeva. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with quality assurance processes and batch record review. Experience with standard operating procedures and audit processes. Work Environment This position operates on a standard first shift from Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Employees will work in a regulated environment, focusing on ensuring high standards of quality and compliance. The role offers paid time off and paid holidays during the contract period. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Dodge, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
