TrinityRail is proud to TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc is searching for a talented team player to full the open role of 1st shift Career QA Inspector at our Shell Rock, IA facility. The Career Quality Inspector position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the team at Trinity, you'll make visual/measured inspection/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements. You will complete inspection records and reports and follow appropriate codes and regulations. What you'll do: Proficiently utilize inspection tools and/or measuring equipment Understand and apply quality science and tools Perform as Welding Inspector Specialist (WIS) level II or Quality Inspection Specialist (QIS) level II or able to achieve in 6 months Work under the supervision of a Level 2 certified inspector Follow all safety rules and practices Participate in the learning/certification process Perform other duties as assigned What you'll need: Have some experience in Quality procedures Familiarity with Rail Cars Good knowledge of the job, company policies and processes Some understanding of the technical aspects of the job Ability to follow verbal or simple written instructions and procedures 1-2 years of related experience
