Summary The Site Technician serves as the field verification arm of RM Mechanical, ensuring that what we say we do is actually happening in the field. This role drives consistency, accountability, and visibility by performing structured safety and quality observations, supporting material tracking, and assisting with productivity reporting. Their work directly supports risk reduction, accurate reporting, and maintaining RM standards across all projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale industrial projects and support our company's mission of excellence.' Responsibilities Perform routine site safety observations using RM internal forms Identify and document unsafe conditions and behaviors Verify adherence to site-specific safety requirements and RM standards Submit observations in real-time or daily (based on project requirements) Escalate critical safety concerns immediately to site leadership Perform quality checks on installed work using RM quality forms Verify work aligns with plans, specs, and RM standards Document deficiencies clearly with photos and descriptions Track and follow up on open quality items Assist staff with material receiving and verification Confirm delivered materials match POs, submittals, and packaging Support documentation of received materials (photos, logs, tracking) Identify and communicate discrepancies immediately Assist in gathering data for productivity tracking (labor, quantities installed, etc.) Support Foreman and GF with daily/weekly reporting needs Help ensure field data aligns with planning tools (POD, 3-week look ahead, packages) Provide accurate, timely input to support Xreport and forecasting Qualifications Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to read English and use a tablet or other technological devices. Strong spatial awareness and data accuracy. Valid driver's license. Report writing in English Good attendance and willingness to work up to 50 hours per week Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency Physical Requirements Lift and carry 40+ lbs of equipment. Walk uneven terrain and access mechanical spaces. Stand for extended layout tasks. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Computer competency OSHA 10 certification. Ready to measure up to the challenge?
