Full-time Description:
Job Summary:
The Quality Technician provides hands-on support by identifying and investigating nonconformances on the shop floor and from products returned from the field (RMAs). This role ensures issues are thoroughly investigated and supported with accurate data to drive effective corrective actions and maintain product and process quality.
Essential Functions:
Nonconformance and RMA Investigations:
Investigate nonconformances on the shop floor and analyze customer returns (RMAs).
Special Inspections and Problem-Solving:
Perform targeted inspections and testing to identify root causes of failures and support corrective actions.
Shop Floor Quality Support:
Provide support to ensure quality processes are executed effectively in manufacturing.
Data Collection and Reporting:
Document findings, support analysis, and provide accurate feedback to drive process and product improvements. Collaboration with
Quality Team:
Work closely with engineers, inspectors, and managers to support quality system effectiveness.
Requirements:
MIN EXPERIENCE 2
years in a full-time engineering or quality-related role required. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Skills and Abilities Summary:
Investigative Ability:
Identify, analyze, and report on nonconforming conditions with accuracy and thoroughness.
Hands-On Problem-Solving:
Perform inspections and tests to resolve issues in real time on the shop floor.
Technical Aptitude:
Use measurement tools and inspection methods to support investigations. Intermediate level of Excel skills. Attention to
Detail:
Ensure accuracy in findings, reports, and feedback to prevent recurrence of issues.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with multiple stakeholders to support corrective actions and improvements.
