Job Description

Dimensional Checker (Quality Inspector) - Night Shift Idaho Falls, ID | Full-Time | 1 Night Shift Opening We are currently seeking a Dimensional Checker to join our team at one of our shop locations in Idaho Falls, Idaho . This position plays a key role in ensuring our products are manufactured correctly, meet drawing specifications, and stay within established tolerances. Shift Options Available Night Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 5:15 PM - 3:45 AM Job Summary As a Dimensional Checker, your primary responsibility is to ensure the products in your assigned areas are: Manufactured correctly Built to the dimensions listed on fabrication drawings Within established tolerances Welded correctly based on weld symbols, including verifying weld lengths and sizes shown on drawings This role requires accuracy, consistency, and strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Verify first-piece inspections and complete two-hour inspections of manufactured parts Perform quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to confirm product dimensions and specifications Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods Collaborate with QA/QC teams to identify and resolve quality issues Follow established procedures for quality documentation and inspection tracking Collect inspection data and maintain accurate records Work closely with production teams to address non-conformances and improve quality outcomes Qualifications & Experience 2+ year welding experience (welding is not required for this role) Previous experience in a similar role (preferred), especially in a manufacturing or production environment Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and procedures Familiarity with CGMP standards Proficiency using precision measuring instruments (calipers, etc.) Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally Why Join Us?
