When brought on as a permanent employee, you can benefit from a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid holidays and vacation. The organization values professional development, offers exposure to complex and tight-tolerance work, and provides a supportive environment where quality is a core priority. Work Environment The role is based in a very clean, temperature-controlled quality lab within a brand-new facility that specializes in OD/ID grinding and precision metal components. Initial training typically occurs on first shift (approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) for about two weeks when possible. Ongoing work is primarily on first or second shift, with typical options such as 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or 3:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and the operation runs from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For highly skilled individuals, there is flexibility to adjust hours (for example, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), and shift preferences are considered rather than being a barrier. You will work in a dedicated quality lab and also spend time on the production floor alongside operators.
