Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grain Scale Operator to join our dynamic grain elevator team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately weighing and recording grain shipments, ensuring precise inventory management, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. Your expertise will help maintain smooth flow in grain handling processes, contributing to the overall success of our distribution center. This position offers an energetic environment where proactive problem-solving and teamwork are highly valued. Duties Operate digital and mechanical weighing scales to measure incoming grain shipments with precision Operate a grain probe to take accurate samples of inbound shipments Record weight data accurately using Microsoft Excel to identify moisture, test weight, foreign material (F.M.) and splits Perform all duties within compliance of OHSA Safety and Environmental Regulations Maintain strong relationships with local farm customers Perform general housekeeping duties in the office to maintain a clean environment Skills Experience with Microsoft Excel Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for weighing and inventory purposes Excellent attention to detail combined with good communication skills to coordinate effectively within a team Join us as a Grain Scale Operator and become an integral part of a fast-paced grain elevator environment!
