is a leading grain company with 80 full time employees operating in Northern Illinois.FS GRAIN

Role:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Regional Scale Operator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate all aspects of the scale, including weighing and grading of inbound, outbound, and transfer loads.
- Ensure accurate documentation of weights, grades, accounts, and freight charges.
- Travel to FS locations based on daily needs.
Including:
St. Anne, Bourbonnais, Exline, Lehigh, Ransom, Grand Ridge, Mazon, Kentland, Lisbon Center, and Serena.- Serve as the primary point of contact for scale-related inquiries, ensuring timely communication with settlement, origination, and operations teams.
- Assist with general customer service, including answering phones and providing information about elevator hours and ticket details.
- Utilize the Scale System effectively, generating reports and managing ticket processes from start to finish.
- Handle scale processes related to containers, ensuring proper documentation and assisting with paperwork when applicable.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills with the ability to manage digital and written records and reports.
- Proven experience working effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with cooperative philosophies and principles is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and travel between locations.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when needed.
