Overview We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing processes. Your attention to detail and expertise in quality systems will help ensure our products meet all regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of production lines to verify compliance with product specifications and quality standards. Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and quality checkpoints during production. Inspect raw materials, work-in-process products, and finished goods for quality, appearance, packaging, labeling, and coding accuracy. Verify product weights, temperatures, and packaging integrity. Collect and retain product samples as required. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP requirements, and company food safety procedures. Monitor employee adherence to sanitation, hygiene, and food handling practices. Perform pre-operational and operational inspections of production equipment and work areas. Immediately report food safety, quality, or compliance concerns to QA management. Complete quality inspection forms, checklists, and production records accurately and timely. Record deviations, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Maintain organized quality records in accordance with company requirements. Assist in investigating product quality issues and customer complaints. Support corrective and preventive action activities. Work collaboratively with Production, Warehouse, and Sanitation teams to resolve quality concerns. Participate in quality improvement initiatives as assigned. Required Qualification and Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Food Science or related field preferred but not required. 1-3 years of experience in food manufacturing, warehouse operations, quality assurance, or a related environment. Basic understanding of food safety, sanitation, and quality principles. Ability to follow written procedures and complete documentation accurately. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry. Experience in a food manufacturing environment. HACCP or Food Safety training preferred. Knowledge of GMPs and food safety practices. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
