About M&R Precision Machining M&R Precision Machining is an AS9100-certified manufacturer serving aerospace, commercial, industrial, and defense customers. We specialize in close-tolerance CNC machining and are seeking an experienced CMM professional to help lead the next phase of our quality department. This is an opportunity to join a stable, growing company and play a key role in expanding our CMM capabilities and improving our inspection processes. What You'll Do Program and maintain CMM inspection routines Develop offline programs from CAD models and engineering drawings Create inspection plans and measurement strategies for complex machined components Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections Create and review
AS9102 FAIR
packages Support AS9100 quality system requirements Assist with calibration, nonconformance investigations, and corrective actions Work closely with Engineering and Production to ensure product quality Help modernize and improve our CMM programming processes, including our ongoing transition to Metrolog X4 What We're Looking For 5+ years of CMM programming experience Strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills Experience creating inspection plans from engineering drawings Ability to independently determine inspection methods, datum structures, and measurement strategies Experience programming CMMs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, Metrolog, MODUS, MCOSMOS, or similar software Experience using conventional inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gages, thread gages, and height gages

experience preferred AS9100 experience preferred Our CMM Environment M&R currently utilizes Metrolog X4 and ArcoCAD. Metrolog experience is preferred but not required for candidates with strong CMM programming experience. Training will be provided to qualified candidates as needed. Why This Role Is Different This is not a CMM operator position.

We are looking for a technical leader who can independently develop inspection strategies, create programs from scratch, and serve as the primary resource for CMM programming and measurement methodology within the organization.
