Job Description

At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. ​ Job Overview Inspect incoming materials and internally fabricated products to ensure suitability for use for manufacturing and shipments to customers. Job Requirements Inspect incoming materials. Take basic measurements to verify against packing slip, Business Central item description and blueprints. Obtain and review material certifications as required by inspection plans. Verify that the certificates match Company specifications. Record data and scan documents as needed for manufacturing and quality. Perform additional inspection on "Enterprise Critical" items. Notify the Quality Manager of any discrepancies on incoming inspection or quality concerns on products. Perform first piece inspection and ongoing in-process inspection of manufactured and other products, including weld metal, as scheduled/assigned. Perform shop audits Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Other duties as assigned. Monday to Friday 2:30 pm to 11 pm. What your background should look like High School diploma, or equivalent preferred. 2-4 years of related experience Ability to read and use a tape measure, caliper, micrometer, hardness tester and other quality control equipment for measurement and analysis. Proficient in Microsoft suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Excellent communication skills and organization skills.

Physical Requirements:
Continuous standing, moving and reaching with arms and hands. Frequently walks, bends, stoops, kneels, lifts and carry items. Periodically going up and down ladders. Occasionally it requires lifting and/or moving up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office and shop environment. Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, and odors. Safety Follows all Company Safety Rules Wears the required

COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $38,700 - $48,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
