Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Quality Control Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety. In this energetic role, you will oversee quality assurance processes, conduct detailed inspections, and uphold compliance with industry regulations. Your expertise will help maintain our commitment to excellence, precision, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. USDA experience is required. Duties Perform thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Conduct regular quality audits and other relevant standards to identify areas for improvement. Utilize data collection techniques to analyze quality metrics, track defects, and support root cause analysis. Ensure compliance HACCP protocols, CGMP guidelines, and other regulatory requirements throughout manufacturing processes. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions and enhance overall quality systems. Participate in internal and external quality audits to verify adherence to established standards and procedures. Skills Strong knowledge of the meat business Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Familiarity with
SSOP, HACCP
principles, CGMP guidelines, and industry-specific compliance standards. Ability to perform detailed analysis skills for defect identification and process improvements. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong documentation skills for accurate data collection and reporting. Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
