Quality Technician

Job Responsibilities :

1) Inspects and approves Inspection Logs for: Control Room previous day production inventory daily and scans documents. Table orders and floor inspection per quality standards or internal requirements. Other in-process orders per quality standards or internal requirements. Works with Receiving to inspect incoming material per quality standards or internal requirements. Works with Shipping to inspect outgoing orders per quality standards, customer request or internal requirements. 2) Tests product per quality standards, customer requirements or internal requirements: Tensile Dimensional Airflow 3) Creates Certificates of Conformance, when needed. 4) Creates Certificates of Analysis when needed. 5) Ensures all gages and test equipment are calibrated, verified. 6) Writes and runs programs for dimensional verification using vision system. 7) Helps investigate concerns, does root cause analysis when needed for in-process quality issues. Recommends corrective actions. 8) Helps investigate, does root cause analysis when needed for customer quality complaints. Recommends corrective action. 9) Helps conduct internal ISO audits based on ISO Quality System Manual requirements. 10) Attends Continuous Improvement Team meetings and provides analysis, investigation, and corrective action support. 11) Handles other tasks as assigned.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills :

High school diploma or GED. Very good math, conversion skills. At least 2 years of manufacturing quality technician experience. However, will train a quick learner with potential.

ISO 9001

Quality System experience is helpful but not required. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Blueprint reading experience. CMM's programming experience is helpful but not required. Good communication, follow-up skills, organized with attention to detail. Bilingual Spanish and English helpful but not required.
