Inspector I:
Pay Rate:
$19.75/hour ($18 base + $1.75 shift differential)
Location:
Melrose Park, IL 60160
Schedule:
5:45 PM - 6:15 AM. Overtime based on business need
Type:
3-month contract, with potential for extension or conversion to Full-Time Employee (FTE) based on performance and business needs. What's a typical day as an Inspector I?
You will:
Visually inspect finished products from the filling line, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Work in both the Capping Department and off-line inspection areas, gaining familiarity with procedures and equipment. Accurately and promptly document all inspection work and findings. Set up, adjust, and operate inspection equipment, including inspection machines and cappers. Perform essential start-up procedures, such as filter integrity testing, line clearance, and component verification, for filling operations. Complete and document quality checks on products, calculate defective percentages, and reconcile batch records. Load and unload vials from turntables; stack, wrap, and move pallets. Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production quality. This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: High school diploma or equivalent (required). One (1) to three (3) years of pharmaceutical experience (preferred). Ability to perform basic math calculations (multiplication/division). Strong visual acuity and attention to detail to detect product defects. Good written and verbal communication skills. Willingness and ability to meet visual inspection qualification requirements and maintain acceptable visual standards.
