General Scope of Responsibility:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and ensuring that all produced material meets or exceeds quality standards.
Specific Duties:
  • Follow all plant work and safety rules and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Properly housekeep the work area.
Perform audit and inspection of required material produced during the shift, in accordance with material DRDs, specifications, and special instructions. Recognize and tag discrepant material produced in accordance with
PAR-QA-13.
Perform inspection requirements on staged or incoming raw material as necessary. Accurately record inspection and traceability data on appropriate documents. Perform and maintain calibration of test equipment as required.
  • Work assigned work schedule and overtime as required.
  • Follow all ISO/Quality Program Procedures/Instructions as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Note:
This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Great Pay $16.00 to $20.69 (Depending on Experience and Advancement) Paid on a weekly basis Overtime is built into the schedule (40 hrs straight time and 8 hrs overtime one week and 24 hrs straight time and 12 hrs overtime the next week) Potential pay increases every 90-days with good performance evaluations Night shift premium of $1.50/hour Perfect attendance bonus of up to $200/quarter (up to $800 extra dollars per year just for coming to work!) $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days Quarterly and annual bonus potential Rotating 2/2/3 schedule where you only work 15 days per month 12-hour shifts
  • 2 on/2 off, 2 on/3 off, 2 on/2 off, 3 on/2 off Three-day weekend off every other week Days off during the week

QUALIFICATIONS
(Education, Work Experience, etc.) Minimum (Must have to be considered for the position):
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills Pass all entry-level exams Must be able to differentiate colors in the color spectrum Must not be afraid of heights Must have above-average communication skills Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.) Must be reliable and committed to being at work Desired (Will provide job holder with added skill(s) to perform duties):
  • Prefer 1-2 years of experience in a flexible film manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Able to concentrate continuously on a task.
Basic understanding of computer equipment preferred.
