DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform dimensional and mechanical inspections as required to ensure no department level escapes. Collect and record quality related data, build reports and communicates effectively. Perform quality tasks as defined by the Quality Engineer/QC Leadership Perform other tasks as required. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring non-conforming product is contained and logged per standard work. This will be accomplished by performing routine dimensional audits, communicating issues to supervisors and maintaining quality records

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous Quality experience is preferred. Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints. Understanding of GD&T is helpful. CMM Experience is helpful. Knowledge of using Micrometers, height gages, calipers and other measuring devices is helpful. Strong attention to detail. Computer skills - Excel and Word Ability and willingness to learn. Demonstrate a strong ability to communicate with all levels on the team. Able to prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment. Able to work with limited direction. Must maintain a certain level of urgency to control quality. Be able to be on plant floor the majority of your shift. Available to work overtime when needed. INDQSS2
