Imperial Oak Brewing, a renowned brewery with two exciting locations, is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Beertenders to join our team. As a Beertender, you'll play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to our patrons, guiding them through a diverse selection of handcrafted beers, and fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities:

Beer Expertise:

As a Beertender, you'll be the face of Imperial Oak Brewing, showcasing your expertise in craft beer styles, flavors, and brewing processes. Your knowledge will help customers navigate our rotating taps and bottled selections, providing them with personalized recommendations based on their preferences.

Customer Service:

Delivering exceptional customer service is at the core of our brewery's values. You will greet customers warmly, attentively address their inquiries, and ensure their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Taproom Operations:

Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the taproom, ensuring it remains a welcoming space for all guests. Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking shelves, and handling transactions.

Brewery Events:

Contribute to the success of brewery events, such as beer releases, festivals, and special gatherings. Collaborate with the team to create memorable experiences that keep customers coming back for more.

Responsible Alcohol Service:

Adhere to all local and state laws regarding the responsible service of alcohol. Ensure that customers are of legal drinking age and handle any potential issues with tact and professionalism.

Team Player:

Work collaboratively with fellow Beertenders, barbacks, and management to maintain a cohesive and positive work environment. Share your knowledge and passion for craft beer with your colleagues to continuously improve the team's expertise.

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older. Previous experience in bartending, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory. A genuine passion for craft beer and a willingness to expand your knowledge in the field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in work hours, including weekends and evenings.
