Woodridge, IL Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30PM Pay:
$20.00/hr to start | Temp-to-Hire Global manufacturer and distributor of plumbing fixtures, faucets, and household hardware products. Their Woodridge facility supports product testing, quality control, returns processing, and distribution for major brands, including Gerber. The site is fast‑paced, hands‑on, and highly focused on quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities- Test products and maintain testing equipment
- Inspect returned merchandise, identify defects/damages, and determine return eligibility
- Process returns from UPS, FedEx, and other customers (2-4 hours per shift)
- Support claims and returns workflow, including documentation and follow‑up
- Pick, assemble, and pack customer display and show orders
- Use RF scanners and basic computer systems
- Communicate professionally via email with corporate returns department
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, screwdrivers) and hand tools (wrenches, pliers, tape measures)
- Assist the mounting department as needed
- Cross‑train across multiple departments
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support audits and quality initiatives Qualifications
- Reliable, flexible, and able to multitask
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills (Outlook & MS Office required; Oracle preferred)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must communicate clearly in English (bilingual candidates encouraged)
- RF scanner experience preferred
- Quality Clerk or Quality Inspection background is a strong match
- Forklift experience preferred (Cherry Picker, Sit‑Down, Reach) — willing to train
- Comfortable inspecting, lifting up to 50 lbs, and staying active throughout the shift
- Experience with power tools required
- 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, or quality control experience preferred Why This Job Is a Great Fit
