Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Night Shift Quality Inspector to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet rigorous quality standards by performing detailed inspections and audits throughout the production process. Your keen eye for detail, combined with your understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements, will help uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional, compliant products to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain the integrity of our quality assurance processes.
Working Hours:
Monday-Friday 2nd Shift (4:30pm-2:00am) OR 3rd Shift (8:30pm-6:00am) The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the precision and accuracy of parts through various inspection methods.
Key responsibilities include:
CMM Operation (M89-QC): Safely and accurately loads and unloads parts on the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Capable of loading and starting the CMM for inspection processes.
Hand Inspection Gaging:
Possesses a general understanding of hand inspection gaging techniques.
CMM Understanding:
Demonstrates a basic understanding of the CMM's operation and functionality.
Part Inspection:
Possesses a basic understanding of how to inspect parts using appropriate methods. NCMR Completion (F490000): Demonstrates a basic understanding of completing Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR) processes.
Print Reading:
Has a basic understanding of reading engineering drawings and blueprints. Faro Arm Operation (M89-QC): Utilizes the Faro Arm for precision inspections of parts.
Probe Calibration:
Capable of completing CMM probe calibration (M89-QC). Capable of completing Faro probe calibration (M89-QC).
Communication Skills:
Exhibits good communication skills, both written and spoken. The Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of the manufacturing process. The ability to operate various inspection tools, interpret engineering documentation, and communicate effectively are essential for success in this role.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
