Job Description

Job Title:
Commodity Handler Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Commodity Handler at our state-of-the-art soybean crushing and biodiesel plant, where your contributions directly impact our production and delivery operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading products, ensuring that quality standards are met while maintaining strict compliance with both company and government regulations. You will play a vital part in the smooth operation of our facility, helping to ensure that our products reach their destinations efficiently and safely. Required Skills:
Experience operating skid loaders, front-end loaders, and/or forklifts. Ability to load and unload trucks and railcars efficiently. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication skills and basic math proficiency. Fundamental PC skills for data entry and operating equipment. Nice to
Have Skills:
Preferred 6 months of experience with truck and railcar loading/unloading. Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, USDA, ISO 9000, B-Q-9000). Experience in quality control or inspection processes within a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Relevant experience in a manufacturing or agricultural setting is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work in various physical conditions, including climbing stairs and ladders, managing confined spaces, and withstanding extended periods of walking and standing. Must be able to lift and move materials and products weighing 50 pounds or more. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
