They have a Quality Lab Technician role available on their Fishers team This role will support prototype development, testing, and failure analysis for automotive products by performing mechanical and electrical testing, documenting results, building and modifying components, and assisting with lab operations to ensure product quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities (Simplified) Perform functional, durability, and destructive testing using defined procedures Set up and monitor standard test equipment and lab processes Document test setups, results, and findings for engineering teams Build and modify prototypes (including ECU adjustments and custom tools) Assemble and disassemble mechanical and electrical components for analysis Support shipping, receiving, and material handling of prototype parts Conduct inspections and quality checks on incoming materials Preferred Skills & Background Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical testing equipment Automotive industry experience (especially steering systems or IATF standards) Familiarity with test software and lab environments Basic machining skills (mills, lathes) Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Our client offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, as well as tremendous opportunity for career development!
