Summary/Objective The Quality Process Auditor's responsibility is to audit production processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of established processes. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Document process issues in the relevant quality management system. 2. Relay process audit results to area leaders. 3. Engage in a positive manner with team members from all disciplines to ensure common goals are being met (production, material handling, lean manufacturing, safety, maintenance, shipping/receiving, etc.) 4. Be prepared to work overtime hours as necessary, including Saturdays, in order to complete production schedules in a timely manner. 5. Provide adequate care and maintenance of all equipment and resources used, including performing required calibrations and preventive maintenance where necessary. Competencies 1. Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company's overall goals. 2. Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English). 3. Must be able to read and process written communication. 4. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. 5. Must demonstrate competency in quality control procedures. 6. Must possess successful problem-solving skills. 7. Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow team members, customers, etc. 8. Must be able to read and interpret engineering prints/drawings. 9. Must be able to operate and understand measurement tools (tape measures, micrometers, gauges, calipers, levels, etc.). 10. Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day. Supervisory Responsibility This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is very active - 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing all day. The team member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time hourly position. Travel No travel expected for this position. Required Education and Experience 1. High school degree required; college degree is a definite asset. 2. Familiar with technology; computers, tablets, etc. 3. Use of Office 365 apps; email, Word, Excel, etc. 4. Basic math skills. 5. Effective verbal and written communication. 6. Must be able to work closely with others to solve problems and follow-through on solutions. 7. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English. Preferred Education and Experience 1. Bilingual in English and Spanish is ideal. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Proven quality assurance and auditing experience in a similar industry preferred with strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills. Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be able to pass EVerify.
