Have you run first article, in-process, and final inspections with confidence? Can you operate and troubleshoot a CMM—and prefer Zeiss with Calypso? Do you like turning customer specs into clear, accurate inspection criteria? If yes, you'll thrive as our go-to quality pro—ensuring every dimension, document, and device is exactly where it needs to be. What You'll Do Review customer contract requirements and compare them with manufacturing documentation so all obligations are identified and satisfied. Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using calibrated equipment; capture results precisely per established procedures. Calibrate and maintain precision measuring devices following work instructions; keep due dates current across employee, customer-supplied, and company-owned assets. Complete and verify all shipping documentation to certify products meet every requirement before they leave our facility. Process nonconforming material and help determine root cause per standard work. Assist with training coworkers to strengthen inspection capability across the team. Translate customer specifications into the correct inspection criteria. Conduct preventive maintenance on inspection equipment. Finish all job-related paperwork and production reporting to accurately record time, attendance, and inventory. Keep your area clean, organized, and safe using 6S; perform internal 6S audits on schedule. Follow all safe practices, policies, and regulations. Take on other duties as assigned. Must-Haves High school diploma or GED. 4+ years in Quality Control or Machining. Knowledge of manufacturing methods and logistics administration. Experience with optical comparator and profilometer. Advanced blueprint reading; strong command of GD&T and military specifications. CMM operation and troubleshooting skills; Zeiss Calypso preferred. Basic computer skills, strong math ability, and excellent written/verbal communication (Microsoft Office Suite). A collaborative mindset and comfort with challenging situations. Nice-to-Haves Lean and quality system experience (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, AS9100D). Experience with ERP and quality software interfaces. You're Proficient In GD&T Quality inspection methodologies AS9100 Precision measurement & hand metrology Advanced inspection & gage measurement Tools You'll Use Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) — Zeiss Calipers and Micrometers Optical Comparator and Profilometer
