Job Description:
Quality Administrator role supports the PDC's quality assurance program by maintaining accurate records, coordinating inspections, and assisting with compliance activities. This role helps facilitate communication from customers to our PDC Quality Operations team to provide analysis and feedback on all quality concerns. Process and investigate customer complaints. Maintain and update quality documentation including inspections, nonconformance reports, corrective actions and audit files. Ensures all documents meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Prepares and distributes quality reports, metrics, and results to staff. Input initial documentation into the Quality Issue Management (QIM) System (creating and assigning 8Ds). Prepares various reports and quality-related documents Support root cause investigations by gathering data, photos, and statements as needed. Coordinates with receiving on incoming material needing quality release due to PPAP or testing requirements. Communicate results of internal errors to and within PDC. Coordinates follow up on corrective actions with warehouse operations. Prepare and maintain miscellaneous salary and hourly personnel documents. Maintain PDC conference room schedules. Manages office equipment maintenance. Orders and maintains supplies for the PDC office and warehouse. Accuracy and timeliness of reports Timeliness of ordering office supplies Adhering to the highest standards in what we do. We succeed through integrity, trust, and quality as we drive for results. Familiarity with ERP or WMS systems. Prior experience in parts distribution or automotive/industrial parts. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred:
1-3 years of experience with quality systems (IATF, ISO, PFMEA etc.). Experience in a warehouse distribution or manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret basic quality documents. Strong communication and organizational skills. Can expect to be present on the warehouse floor as needed. Will need to interact with customers.
