In-Process Quality Assurance Technician

Shape quality on the line — every shift. Step onto the production floor at Carlex and put precision into motion. You'll gear up with PPE, review control plans, verify setups during changeovers, and keep processes on target by running checks and logging results in our Quality System. Throughout your shift, you'll watch reliability and yield trends, solve problems fast, and help your team keep a spotless, 5S-ready work area. What you will do Follow work instructions and control plans to the letter. Support product changeovers and complete assigned transition tasks. Perform in-process quality inspections; record data in the Quality System and enter GMaP data when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, 5S-compliant area. Monitor trends in reliability and yield to keep processes nominal. Respond quickly with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving. Understand required PPE and the location/purpose of all lockouts and e-stops. Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervision. Prioritize effectively, communicate clearly, and model a strong work ethic with excellent attendance. Work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What you bring Basic computer skills (preferred). Self-motivation, initiative, and a drive for quality results. Team-first mindset with the ability to find common ground and resolve issues quickly. Persistence to see tasks through despite setbacks. Clear written and verbal communication skills.
