Quality Technician - Test Cell

We are seeking Quality Technicians with electrical systems experience to work as Test Cell Operators for a manufacturing facility in Monticello. You will be responsible for the quality control of power modules by testing and inspecting electrical circuits and engines.

Pay:

$15-22.00/hr Based on

Experience Shift:

7AM-3PM Monday-Friday.

OT as needed Job duties:

Quality Technician Testing all electrical circuits. Circuits would include, switchgear, power distribution fuel displays and battery charging systems. Make repairs to such circuits. Inspecting all aspects of engine and engine components. Mechanical repair of things such as coolant leaks, fuel leaks and fuel probes. Responsible for setting up power modules for test to include fueling of the unit, attaching load cables and AC house shore power. Electrical voltages would include 120, 240, 480 and 600 volts AC. Occasionally higher voltages are required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Quality Technicians Technical Certificate with 1 year related experience and / or training or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics. Ability to weld and operate machining tools. Basic computer, electrical and mechanical skills. Understanding of diesel engines and power generators Ability to use basic hand tools, electrical measuring equipment and tape measure. Will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. Will regularly be required to work outside in all types of weather. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
