Job Description

Quality Control Lab Tech Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent food processing manufacturer in the Mount Vernon, IN area, is seeking Quality Control Lab Tech to join their team!
Job Summary:
  • Measure and test in-process and final materials to determine adheres to specifications.
Conduct laboratory tests and analyze data for variety of purposes, production, quality control, and minor research. Document results tests, readings, etc. in Total Lab Client (TLC). Completes Certificate of Analyses. Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and related field instrumentation. Maintain awareness and adheres to all FDA, GMP, TTB, USP, EPA, OSHA, and employer standards and guidelines. Support and comply with all food safety, quality, and legal requirements. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to Work on Multiple Tasks Good Organizational Skills Willingness to Assume and Learn New Responsibilities Excellent Communication Skills Demonstrate Troubleshooting Skills Strong Attention to Detail Able to Understand and Comply with Plant GMP and Personnel Practice Requirements Computer Skills to Utilize Lab Instrument Operation Programs Basic Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge Demonstrate Math Skills to Perform Calculations Associated with Lab Testing•Good Attendance, Including Flexible Schedule and Can Coordinate with Co-Workers Why Peoplelink Staffing?
