Full-time, Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team! This is an on-site role in our fabrication and warehousing operations areas, where you will be responsible for ensuring that mechanical parts, assemblies, and processes meet our strict quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical inspection and quality systems. Responsibilities Perform inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished parts, assemblies, and products. Interpret and apply mechanical drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments and equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify conformance. Document inspection results, identify nonconformances, and communicate findings to production and engineering teams. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities as needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives and adherence to company quality standards. Qualifications Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities. Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar quality role within a mechanical/manufacturing environment (1-3 years required). Strong knowledge of mechanical components, tolerances, and inspection methods. Proficiency with precision measuring tools and basic statistical process control concepts. Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings. ASQ certification (CQI or similar) is not required, but desirable.Similar jobs in Noblesville, IN
