Job Description

Bakery Production Manager Compensation:
$52,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability.
Schedule:
10 hour shiftsTuesday through Saturday with Sundays and Mondays off. Full-time Salaried management position. Position Summary The Bakery Production Manager is responsible for: Planning and coordinating daily production Managing labor and ingredient usage Maintaining sanitation standards Ensuring product quality Developing production staff. Key Responsibilities Production planning and scheduling Maintain and enforce product quality standards Monitor production labor hours Ingredient planning and inventory management Control ingredient waste and loss Train, coach, and counsel production employees Oversee bakery and equipment sanitation programs Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards Qualifications Minimum 5 years of foodservice management experience Experience in a scratch bakery environment Current ServSafe Certification Ability to successfully pass a background check Strong leadership and team development skills Experience with production planning, labor management, inventory control, and quality management Preferred Qualifications Culinary degree or formal culinary/baking education Experience managing high-volume bakery production operations Benefits Two weeks paid vacation annually during company shutdowns (week of July 4th and week after Christmas) Employee discount on bakery products
