Quality Assurance Technician

JOB SUMMARY

The QA Technician is responsible for monitoring products and processes to ensure that Creekstone Farms production specifications are met. This includes accurate and timely communicated documentation and audits that adhere to Quality and Food Safety Standards for every product. Other responsibilities may include pre-operation inspection activities and working closely with

USDA, FSIS, USDA

AMS and all departments within the plant. This individual will work closely with various departments by using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Monitoring, documenting, and communicating plant Quality/HACCP/SSOP/SOG/GMP programs to ensure proper implementationCoordinating with plant personnel, USDA, and contracted sanitation personnel to comply with quality programsWorking daily in cold environments (~45 degrees) and warm environments (~85 degrees)Maintain constructive relationships with various levels of personnel in various departments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
