Job Description

Chemical Quality Technician Job Summary:
Pridestaff is working with an established manufacturing and distribution company seeking a Chemical Quality Technician to join its growing team. The Chemical Quality Technician will conduct chemical tests and work with production to ensure the product meets specifications. The ideal Chemical Quality Technician will have experience in analytical chemical testing and be excited to learn and grow in the position. The Chemical Quality Technician position is a full-time, direct-hire position in Kansas City, KS.
Chemical Quality Technician Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct Sample Tests Using a Variety of Analytical Chemistry Techniques & Verify Product Conforms to Specifications Inform Production Plant of Adjustments Needed to Bring Product into Specification Record All Test Results Into Quality System & Generate Certificates of Analysis Operate Laboratory Equipment & Instruments Including Centrifuge, Agitators, Viscometer, Balances, Spectrophotometer, Gas Chromatograph, Colorimeter & others
Maintain, Clean & Calibrate Laboratory Equipment & Instruments & Prepare Reagents Chemical Quality Technician Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent At Least 3 Months of Experience &/or Training or the Equivalent Combination of Both Must be Able to Read & Interpret Documents Including Procedure Manuals Must be Able to Follow Written, Oral or Video Instructions Must be Able to Stand & Walk for Extended Periods of Time Must be Able to Lift Up to 25
