Hours:
6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join a fast-paced manufacturing team dedicated to producing high-quality products that meet strict industry and customer standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, hands-on inspection experience, and a passion for maintaining excellence throughout the production process. This is an associate to hire opportunity in Lenexa, KS. Quality Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems
  • Utilize advanced equipment like coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications
  • Perform quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001
regulations to ensure compliance across manufacturing processes
  • Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions in accordance with quality management systems (QMS)
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively
Quality Inspector Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work in an environment with varying noise levels, ranging from quiet to extremely loud
  • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as
ISO 9001
  • Hands-on experience operating measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and CMMs
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and recommend corrective actions
  • Knowledge of quality management principles and systemsQA/QC processes and procedures
  • Prior involvement in conducting quality audits and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the manufacturing floor, including but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
