Hours:
6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join a fast-paced manufacturing team dedicated to producing high-quality products that meet strict industry and customer standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, hands-on inspection experience, and a passion for maintaining excellence throughout the production process. This is an associate to hire opportunity in Lenexa, KS. Quality Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems
Utilize advanced equipment like coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications
Perform quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001
regulations to ensure compliance across manufacturing processes
Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for improvement
Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions in accordance with quality management systems (QMS)
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively
Quality Inspector Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds occasionally
Ability to work in an environment with varying noise levels, ranging from quiet to extremely loud
Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with industry standards such as
ISO 9001
Hands-on experience operating measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and CMMs
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and recommend corrective actions
Knowledge of quality management principles and systems—QA/QC processes and procedures
Prior involvement in conducting quality audits and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills
