The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support.
Responsibilities:
The Materials Tech coordinates and assists with the daily inventory management and control of procedural area supplies. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Additionally, this role includes the use of analytic tools to accurately capture spending and utilization data (Lawson, Epic, Excel) in support of inventory control and management.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 2+ years' of related experience of which 1 year must have been in Materials Management or Clinical Area.
Preferred Job Requirements:
ERP system experience, such as Lawson. Warehouse organization and operational experience. Knowledge of Epic decremented inventory. Understanding of operating room products and their uses. Knowledge of PO pricing and GL interaction. Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
