QA Tech

Job Duties;

• Inspection, verification, and release of all incoming components to include raw materials, labels, boxes, etc.
• Inspection of all production paperwork prior to release of product.
• Places any product that does not meet specification on hold. Manage all products on hold to ensure deficiencies are corrected.
• Assists with customer complaints.
• Inspects production lines for weight verification weight, lot number, pallet tag, master carton labels, customer specific requirements.
• Responsible for keeping current all existing production documents to include run sheets and quality checklists. Makes all necessary changes and circulates for review/approval.
• Assists the QA Manager in developing new/revised production paperwork.
• Reviews all Bill of Materials to ensure accuracy.
• Maintains an updated inventory of all scales and scheduling recertification.
• Assist with the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program.
• Other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate would possess the following;
• Must be fluent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be well organized.
• Prior experience in Quality is preferred.
