Full-time Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Technician ensures the highest standards of quality for our products. This role is responsible for conducting tests, inspections, and analysis to maintain compliance with regulations and meet customer expectations. The Quality Assurance Technician displays a strong attention to detail and dedication to quality. These skills are instrumental in safeguarding our reputation and customer satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Direct support for all shop floor manufacturing and materials processes related to quality assurance. Ensuring goods and products comply with company/customer/industry standards. Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor. Identifying areas for improvement in quality control processes. Ensuring production is not hindered by quality concerns. Navigate M1 to perform tasks related to quality functions. Coordinate with and advise production personnel on quality issues. Interpret engineer drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas and applies them. Inspect incoming goods as well as in-process goods used in manufacturing. Follow rejected goods procedures for non-conforming products produced by manufacturing. Apply hold notices and reject tags. Gather data and written reports to create change request in M1. Prepare and enter data into the computer for analysis. Conduct spot audits of finished product enter results into computer. Develop, maintain, and complete all associated paperwork and data entry regarding but not limited to final check sheets, inspection reports, spot audits, test data, work instructions, etc. Travel as needed for customer quality concerns. Assist in performing QC functions in other areas of the business (Continuous Improvement/5S). Complete all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong organizational and time management skills. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience in collecting data and drafting reports using Microsoft Office. Understanding of GD&T and mathematical concepts and how to read blueprint. Advanced organizational skills. Possesses a high-level of visual awareness. Ability to work alone with minimal supervision. Ability to analyze and interpret technical information and communicate information as needed. ERP understanding (Oracle/SAP/M1).
Education & Experience:
High school diploma/GED required. Associate's degree (Preferred). 2 to 5 years in quality and/or relevant work experience.

Manual Dexterity Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments. Perform tasks requiring fine motor skills. Balance and Coordination Maintain balance on uneven or elevated surfaces. Coordinate movements for tool use and machinery operation. Visual and Auditory Requirements Good vision (with or without correction) for detail work and safety. Ability to hear warning signals, machinery, and verbal instructions. Environmental Tolerance Work in extreme temperatures (hot/cold), noisy environments, or dusty/dirty conditions.
