Summary of Role The Quality Specialist is an early member of a rapidly growing team as it is setting up its first US manufacturing plant. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily and monthly Quality reports.
- Document customer (CCR) and internal quality issues (NCR).
- Document and update quality documentation and product specifications.
- Document and update quality tool calibration requirements.
- Participate in customer site visits to address quality concerns.
- Interact with customers and communicate/document quality issues and improvements.
- Assist in auditing suppliers as required on supplier quality issues and corrective actions.
- Document Quality Control procedures and processes.
- Participate and assist in external audit activities.
- Support internal development trials, and internal product development milestone reviews.
- Participate in continuous improvement of process optimization and product enhancements.
- Use PFMEA, Process Flow/Control Plan, Quality Inspection Standards, PPAP, etc.

- Bachelor's Degree in a science discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in Quality Control and Analytical Equipment.
- Ability to conduct hands-on quality checks.
- Troubleshoot Quality Analytical Equipment when machine errors occur.
- Schedule and perform Preventive Maintenance, Calibration, Cleaning of Quality Analytical Equipment.
- Proven ability to manage dynamic work environments, preferably at startup companies.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Regular and reliable attendance for the scheduled work hours.
- Be detail-oriented, have good organization skills and work well independently and with others.
- Review daily lab paperwork and report any deviations.

- Must be capable of wearing an assigned respirator and successfully passing the required fit test.
